Kiran Singh was born in India and lived there till the
age of five when her family moved to Ethiopia to teach
there for two years. Her family then emigrated to
America in 1961. At age sixteen, Kiran left home and was
absorbed in the hippie counterculture movement,
hitchhiking her way across America following in the
tradition of the beat poets.
At the age of twenty-one, Kiran came to live and travel
in Europe with her husband, with whom she collaborated
in theater and the arts for fifteen years.
Now living in Brussels for the past couple of decades,
Kiran has held seventeen exhibitions of her paintings.
Kiran writes short stories and poems.
Her travels in India, Africa, America and Europe have
contributed to her life as reflected in her art work and
writing. |
