To embrace Bolero, you would need a number of software, which
I have already outlined in the previous chapter. Some software will be
available to you as freeware, that is free of charge. If that does not
meet your requirements, you need to evaluate other alternatives.
Leaving freeware aside, you will have three choices while selecting
software to link up to Bolero:
- Develop application software in-house
- Get an off-the-shelf software
- Get a product from a vendor, which can be modified to suit your
requirements.
The first thing to do is to make a list of the features you would need,
then evaluate various offerings in the market place to finalize your
selection. In this chapter, I will describe the architecture of a Bolero
enabled software called Boleroplus. This will help you in getting a
quick overview of various features in a typical software. If you plan to
build software in-house, this may also offer a blue print.
